stunning views and easy access to beach and parks
I loved my stay here, especially the stunning views over the gardens to the sea and the friendly staff who made me feel so welcome during my time exploring the town. it was the perfect base for a solo traveler like me to enjoy the nearby Cromer Pier and North Lodge Park, both just a pleasant stroll away.

The view from our family suite was simply breathtaking, waking up to the sunrise over the sea was a highlight. The kids enjoyed the beach just steps from the hotel and there were plenty of spaces to play. A fantastic spot for family adventures!
My kids wished there were more family-friendly dining options available, especially for dinner after a long day of fun.

Fantastic views from my room across the sea. The room offered great comfort and charming decor. The restaurant had decent meals, but some options seemed overpriced. Breakfast service took longer than expected, which was a bit frustrating. The team was friendly, not overly intrusive. Grounds are lovely, but the new chalets in the garden felt out of place against the historic backdrop. A bit of noise from the terrace below occasionally interrupted the peace. a pleasant experience but some aspects could use attention.

The room exuded a quirky charm with its vintage decor and a large bath to unwind after a day in the sun. Perfectly positioned, there’s access to outdoor seating where you can enjoy evening drinks while gazing out over the lush gardens.
The food could really use an overhaul. during meals, I encountered less-than-stellar dishes that seemed to be reheated rather than freshly cooked. Breakfast was particularly hit-or-miss, like trying to enjoy a meal in hyperspace—everything took ages to arrive and, well, cold beans don’t exactly hit the spot. The shower was tricky to operate, a bit of a scrap to get it going. also, having to hold the shower head instead of having it fixed to the wall didn’t totally enhance the experience. Add to that the questionable pricing on meals and you start to wonder if it's really worth the credits you’re shelling out.

Great views but dining needs work
We had a nice stay for a couple of nights in a family suite. The view was fantastic, and the local area is quite charming. the meal we had at the restaurant was pretty disappointing—not what we expected at all! The bar staff were super friendly though. Would recommend for drinks but maybe not dinner.

stunning sea views, unique library space, charming village location
WiFi absolutely needs an upgrade!!! how about some better outdoor dining comfort, instead of minimalistic arrangements that fail to utilize the beautiful garden space!!!

More accessible seating options would be appreciated.

The family suite was spacious and conveniently located, offering stunning views over the garden area and the sea. The dining experience stood out, especially the gluten-free options that were thoughtfully provided. while the service was friendly, the room rates seemed exorbitant, making it a pricey option even out of season. the lack of a separate toilet cubicle in the suite could be an inconvenience for some guests.

comfortable stay but needs some improvements
The location is serene, ideal for peaceful walks along the coast. The breakfast, especially the locally sourced sausages, was a delightful highlight of my mornings.
The quiet ambiance was great, but it felt slightly isolated at times.
